I was looking for a board that had a little soul: locally shaped, high quality, not a mass-produced pop-out shipped from thousands of miles away. I was also looking for a board that would allow me to progress on waves here in the PNW while being a suitable travel board for occasional trips. I was so happy to have found Michael Soule and Soule Surfboards. As I wrote to Michael this week, ..."I wanted to let you know that I took the board out today at Westport for about 4 hours, and it's the nicest board I've ever ridden. So stoked!"
Michael Soule! Dude, that board is amazing. So fast, light, nimble, and carves so well. My new favorite board!
I was speechless when I saw my new Soule surfboard for the first time. Such a beautiful board! Michael really listened to what I wanted and made the perfect board for me. Design and art were exactly what I had in mind. Hefty enough to float me well, and yet sized to fit in my truck bed. Most importantly... it rides like a charm! Way better than the factory-made boards that I've ridden in the past. I'm sold on hand-shaped boards from now on, and I'm sold on Soule Surfboards. Plus, he's a really nice guy, a true craftsman, and loves to share his stoke for surfing.
Soule Surf-Michael was great. I retained his services to fix a ding in my new surfboard. He was professional, accommodating and his work impeccable and returned my board to like new again. Being new to the sport I’m grateful to have someone with his expertise and services in my corner. I can’t recommend Soule Surf and Michael enough.
Terrific, reliable ding repair!
